Could gymnastics change your life?

Gymnastics was my first love. But as the 5th of 11 children, my parents could not afford to put me in classes, so I babysat and did a paper route to earn my own way…which didn’t amount to much gym time. To this day, my desire to be doing gymnastics has lingered like a thirst that cannot be quenched.

I started coaching gymnastics in 2002 as my “college job” while going to school to become a music teacher. It got me back in the gym, but without the expense, and I started learning gymnastics again, many years after that paper route! Learning how to coach helped me fix a lot of technique issues and I was able to learn even more skills than I did as a child, which was pretty thrilling to me.

Life took many twists and turns after graduating with my degree in music. Now I find myself starting a non-traditional gymnastics center that carries a grand vision for using gymnastics as a tool of transformation—for adults and children alike. I could not do this without the support of my husband and children who are on this journey with me, nor without the guiding hand of my Father in Heaven and ever-present help from the ultimate life coach—Jesus Christ—who is my everything. Much more to come….

Coach Annie

Founder/Owner/Coach

Annie has been married to her amazing husband, Scott, for over 20 years and they have 3 incredible children. She was born in California but has spent most of her life back and forth between Idaho, New Hampshire, and Mississippi. Her cross-country adventures never seem to stop!

She began teaching gymnastics in 2002 and private voice and piano lessons in 2003. She has a Bachelor's of Music in Music Education K-12, with emphases in choral music, piano, and composition. She is an avid researcher of the singing voice and currently leads an adult community chorus that she absolutely adores.

She has visited and coached at many gymnastics gyms around the country, and was the Recreational Program Director at her most recent gym for several years before moving back to New Hampshire (this is actually the 4th time she has lived in New Hampshire!).

Her love of people, and desire to inspire joy and confidence in them, motivates all of her work, whether in music or gymnastics—or anything else!
